Every building carries its real height. Roads stand proud of the ground, rivers sit below it. Printed in matte, finished by hand, set on a turned wood base with a warm light underneath.

  1. You choose a point

    Any coordinate on Earth. We pull every building footprint, road and waterway around it, with real heights, on the day we make it.

  2. We send a proof

    A full render of your exact piece before anything is printed. Adjust the framing, the wording, the date.

  3. Printed and finished by hand

    Matte finish, washed dark so the streets sit in shadow, then set on a turned base with a warm light beneath.

  4. Sealed and shipped

    A glass cloche seals it. Sent worldwide with duties and taxes prepaid — nothing owed at your door.

The studio.

Circa is made in Malaysia, by hand, in small numbers. Each piece is cut from open map data captured on the day it is made, printed, washed, waxed and set by a person — not pulled from a shelf.

We do not keep a catalogue of famous cities. We think the places worth keeping are usually not the ones on postcards: a street, a junction, the block where something happened. That is a harder thing to sell and a better thing to own.
